Marching Music France’s first goal is : 

To fiercely assume the way we choose to follow, to pass on a know-how which has been prooved, to permit the young people to adopt a personality, to open out and feel strong emotions through sport and music, to learn how to overcome mental and physical difficulties, to develop self estim and respect toward others, to work in a group, to form responsible citizens.

Marching Music France’s second goal is  :

To clarify the terminologies of “Marching” bands styles.  A large number of French “Marching” orchestras are using inappropriate terms to define their musical field. That is why we will define each and every style and ask our members to broadcast the rules and codes of each style toward their musical environment in order to guarantee credibility. The French musical elite shows ostracism toward these popular musical styles from the United States, even if since a few they tend to evolve. But we are well aware that “Drum & Bugle Corps” and “Marching Band” are now tought all over the world, as well in Europe, Asia or America. Marching Music France fits into this international muscial move !

Marching Music France’s third goal is :

To develop 2 musical, sport and artistic styles :
* “Drum & Bugle Corps”
* “Marching Band”

Marching Music France ’s last goal is :

To organize a championship for all the “Marching” orchestras created by MMF, the affiliated “Marching” orchestras respecting the age criteria, and the non affiliated also respecting the age criteria. This national Marching Music France championship will take place each year in mid-august.
